The Problem: The New York Rangers were revealing a new jersey to celebrate the team’s 100th anniversary. The marketing team wanted a fun, interactive way to show fans the details of the jersey to encourage sales. My question is: how can we design a celebratory and informative page to encourage jersey sales?
Skills: UI design, wireframing, Interaction Design, Design Systems
Software: Figma, Ceros, Photoshop
Role: Product Designer
The Process:
First, I worked with the digital content team to discuss what we wanted on the page. My coworker wireframed and threw together some graphics in Ceros to get me started. Ceros is a no-code platform we use at MSG to create interactive landing pages on our sports properties.
I then sketched out some of my own ideas and got to work. One of the important elements of the page was the jersey details section. Earlier in the year, when the Rangers had revealed their Centennial logo, I created this interactive experience that showcased the logo details.

I decided to reuse this element in this experience to showcase the details of the jersey. I was given a lot of photography from creative to use, and the content team really liked the idea of having the page feel as if it were situated in the locker room, so it was fun to play around with the various photographic and brand elements for this page. After laying out all the content, I added in interactive elements such as hover states and animations to give the page more energy and interactivity.
Overall, this page drove a lot of traffic, contributed to the successful sale of jerseys, and contributed to the excitement around the Rangers’ 100th anniversary.
